Stamford Orchard
Local honey, lovingly tended bees
Our corner of paradise
I've always felt a deep connection to animals and the natural world. There's something about being amongst the trees, tending the garden, observing the bees and sharing space with the wildlife that brings me back to what really matters.
Nature has a beautiful way of teaching us presence. It asks nothing of us other than to be here, to pay attention, to slow down and appreciate the extraordinary in the seemingly ordinary.
When the world came to a standstill in 2020, this little corner of Lincolnshire became something of a sanctuary. While life beyond the orchard felt uncertain, the seasons continued to turn, the blossom appeared, the bees went about their work, and nature quietly carried on. It was a godsend — a place to breathe, reconnect and find peace amidst the uncertainty.
Over the years, Stamford Orchard has become our own little corner of paradise. A place where we work alongside nature rather than against it, where the smallest creatures have as much right to be here as we do, and where there's always something new to notice, learn or marvel at.
Our bees are simply one part of that story. Their honey is a wonderful gift, but the real reward lies in the privilege of caring for them and being part of the extraordinary world they inhabit.
A little less doing. A little more being.
